Stephen is passionate about seeing the lost saved and the saved sent. This passion propelled him toward church planting in the Seattle metroplex in June of 2020 along with his wife Jess. Together they saw the needs of the lost, dying, and vulnerable in Seattle as an emergency that needed a response. Two church plants later, God positioned the Searles family (now with two cute editions, Sparrow and Ophelia) to step further into engaging lostness through collegiate ministry. It is the perfect place to see dead people come to life and gospel bearers to be sent into the marketplace and the nations. By reaching one of the least resourced and least engaged people groups, college students, Stephen believes the church can see a revival it has never seen. The Searles believe in opening their hands, hearts, and home to all those who are in need and that by meeting the needs of college students, they are investing in the foundation not for the next generation of revivalists but the now generation!
