Turner and Susie met through working for NCM in Portland and married in the summer of 2025. Turner grew up in Sanger, Texas and attended the University of Texas (hook 'em). While in Austin, Turner connected with the Baptist Student Ministry where his faith grew exponentially. After spending a summer on mission in Portland, OR, he knew he would be called back for full time ministry after he graduated. Susie was raised in Cumming, Georgia and attended the University of North Georgia. Her life was also transformed by college ministry and discipleship. When Susie moved to Portland, she and Turner worked together in the Portland metro. In August of 2025, Susie and Turner started working together in ministry at Washington State University Vancouver. When they aren't connecting with students on campus, you can find them playing pickleball, attending trivia nights with friends, or watching a nature documentary!
