Lane Community College and the University of Oregon
Dawson and Channing both grew up in small towns across Texas, where they were first introduced to Christ and discovered their shared passion for ministry. Eventually, they both made their way to Texas A&M, where they met while leading a Bible study and serving together in the freshman ministry.
During their time at Texas A&M, God began to stir their hearts for the northwest—specifically Eugene, Oregon. Through multiple mission trips to the area, they developed a deep love for the city and its people. After graduating, Dawson felt called to move to Eugene to pursue full-time ministry. Meanwhile, Channing remained at Texas A&M for a yearlong ministry position, where the Lord deepened her burden for the lost and further prepared her for what was ahead.
Now, Dawson and Channing are getting married and will live in Eugene, serving together in ministry with NCM. Dawson working at Lane Community College and Channing working at the University of Oregon.
